Bear Couple crochet

Hello everyone! 
This pattern is good as a  gift to your love ones or your partner,you can also make it for wedding souvenirs if you want.

This is joining pattern,meaning you will chain 1 in the very first chain of the round  and slip stitch in the last chain to join the round.

Let's begin:

CROCHET BEAR COUPLE 

ABBREVIATIONS USE:
Ch- chain
sc- single crochet 
dc- double crochet 
inc- increase
Sl st- slip stitch
dec- decrease 
F.O- fasten off
[6]- total number in a round

MATERIALS USE:

4PLY Cotton yarn in beige, white,pink and black ( you can choose the color that suite you)
2mm crochet hook
Fiber fill
Embroidery needle
9mm safety eye
Magnetic heart
Key ring

HEAD in beige 

R1: 6sc in mr [6]
R2: ch1, (Inc×6), sl st  [12]
R3: ch1, (1sc, inc× 6) sl st 18]
R4: ch1, (2sc, inc×6),sl st [24]
R5: ch1,(3sc, inc×6), sl st [30]
R6~ R9: ch1, sc each stitch  [30]
Insert eyes between round 7 and 8 count 10stitches, left eye, skip 6 stitches then  right eye and 14 stitches left.
    ------10sts---●---6sts---●---14sts


R10: ch1, (3sc,dec×6), sl st [24]
How to invisible decrease:Insert your hook into the front loop of the first stitch.Without completing the stitch, insert your hook into the front loop of the next stitch.Yarn over and pull up a loop.Yarn over and pull through both loops on your hook.
R11: ch1, (2sc, dec×6), sl st [18]
R12: ch1, (1sc,dec×6), sl st [12]
Stuff the Head with fiber fill
Do not cut the yarn continue the body.

BODY (Boy bear)
Change color to white
How to change color: Do not finish the last chain ,make a knot into the new color to secure insert your hook on the last chain and pull the new color slip stitch  to join into the circle.

Slip stitch into  the last chain of the Head and work into the FRONT LOOP ONLY

R13: ch1,FLO (1sc, inc ×6)  sl st[18]
R14: ch1, (2sc,inc×6), sl st [24]
R15: ch1, sc each stitch  [24]
    Change to black yarn
R16~R18: ch1,1sc each stitch, sl st  [24] 
R19: ch1,(2sc,dec×6),sl st  [18]
R20: ch1,(1sc, dec×6),sl st  [12]
   Fill with fiber fill
R21: ch1, dec×6   [6]
  F.O weave in the end

BODY (GIRL bear)
In beige yarn, work into the FRONT LOOP ONLY

R13: ch1,(1sc,inc×6),sl st [18]
R14: ch1,(2sc,inc×6), sl st [24]
R15:ch1,sc each stitch  [24]
  Change color into white or any color you prefer and work into the BACK LOOP ONLY.
R16~R18: ch1,sc each chain  [24]
R19: ch1,(2sc,dec×6),sl st  [18]
R20: ch1,(1sc, dec×6),sl st [12]
   Fill with fiber fill
R21: ch1, (dec×6 ), sl st [6]
  F.O weave in the end

  SKIRT 
work into the front loop of beige yarn (I use blue yarn for the skirt)

R1: ch1,(1sc,inc ×12),sl st [37]
R2~R3: ch1, 1sc each stitch [37]
R4: ch5,skip 1,1sc, repeat  

LEGS in beige yarn 

R1: 6sc in mr  [6]
R2:6sc 
F.O 
  Leave a long tail for sewing

ARMS (make 2)
In beige yarn
R1: 5sc in mr [5]
R2~R4: 1sc each stitch   [5]
F.O
leave a tail for sewing.


EARS(make 2)
In beige yarn

In mr make a 7hdc but do not join the last stitch, cut the yarn and  leave a tail for sewing.

Nose
In Mr make 8sc,fasten off
Embroider detail with 2 strands of black yarn




HAT 
In black or any color you prefer
 R1: 6sc in mr  [6]
R2: ch2,(1dc,inc)
R3: ch1, (1sc, dec)×  
R4: 2 slst , hdc, (2dc on same stitch), hdc ,3slst. f.o
Glue or sew on top of the Head for boy bear

BOW TIE 
in blue yarn or any color

In Mr ch2,1dc, ch2, slst,
ch2, 1dc, ch2,slst 
Fasten the Mr, use the remaining yarn to tie the center of the bow,
Glue or sew it on the body (Boy bear).

FOR girl bear you can make  accessories for the necklace using beads and any unique accessories to make it more fancy.


Sew the magnetic metal heart on the left and right arms of boy and girl bear.

Couple bear is ready!
